| Mattea has tons of kids of unknown origin- one baby is Aislinn's, and one daughter is nearly half Mattea's age, kind of weird, Asian, and has like three extra rows of teeth. She is also really buff looking and we think she has the perfect build to be a gymnast. We sign her up for some contest or other and on the way to watch it, I see Stephanie and go over to talk to her and ask her if she's okay and all that. She says she is, though I think at one point both of us are crying. We watch her race and Mattea's 'daughter' doesn't win. Later I ask Stephanie who did win, and she says she did. I say, since when do you know how to unicycle? We go to this thrift shop/book store that's supposed to be haunted. Everybody has these detectors that are supposed to beep when there is supernatural presence. I think it's stupid, but then me and Stephanie are in a room and a bunch of books fall off the shelves to my feet and they are all books that used to be mine, including one that has an inscription from Lore in the cover. I pocket the book and now believe in ghosts. Ms. Pace sends us around to check peoples ghost detectors and make sure they are working properly.
Later, I don't remember the beginning well, but somehow it's me and two other people from school walking around some barren ice land, with a big portfolio of art and our bags, as well as our cell phones which obviously get no reception. We trek like this for ages blah blah, eventually we find some houses and are like, hm, these are unusually luxurious for this sort of landscape. Then over the ridge we find a town. Ty, Jesse, and Erin are there. I walk down this very steep slope, and look up to find Ty jumping down from a high window. I try to stop him but he does it, and he's fine. Erin is riding a bike around the plaza or something. We find we are in Kentucky. This dream is kind of connected because I still have the book with me. |
